Our Story
The Dog Who Inspired Ancient Guardians
Every journey has a beginning. Ours began with a beautiful white Central Asian Shepherd named Azat.
When Azat came into our lives in December 2018, we had no idea how profoundly he would change us.
He became a beloved member of our family. He was intelligent, affectionate, extraordinarily powerful, and full of determination.
But Azat's story wasn't without challenges.
Through the experiences we shared with him, we began to understand that preserving this remarkable breed means much more than maintaining its appearance or natural guarding instincts. It means honoring its heritage while taking seriously the health, soundness, and well-being of these extraordinary dogs.
Azat's life ended far too soon, but his legacy lives on through Ancient Guardians.
To tell his story, we put together a documentary told in our own voices, using actual photographs and videos of Azat throughout his life.
